Are there any water toys onboard?
We have a kayak free to use for your enjoyment.
Can I dropoff supplies at the boat before the charter?
If crew are available and the boat is not on a charter we can arrange for access prior to cruises to drop off F&B
Is there a sound system and what connectivity is there?
Yes there is a stereo on board with Bose Surround Sounds inside and 4 speakers outside. There is Bluetooth and AUX cable facilities (AUX cable can be borrowed for a cash deposit of $25 which passengers receive once they return the AUX cable at the end of the cruise) WiFi is also available.

Are plates, glasses / cups, cutlery included?
There is a mix of plates and cutlery on board you can use and we ask if you help with the tidy up. Otherwise you can bring your own disposable or plastic items
What cool storage is there onboard?
Calypso has a freezer and fridge unit in the galley kitchen and has 1 large esky and an ice bin.
Is there a BBQ onboard?
Yes, please note it will take some time to cook for 20+ guests on the BBQ.
Is drinking water included?
Tap water is available but we recommend bottles water if you prefer

Responsible drinking of spirits is allowed with mixers. No shots permitted

Yes there are 2 hot plates and a small microwave in the galley kitchen with fridge & freezer.

Can we decorate the boat and any particular advice?
Yes decorations are permitted. Balloons on weights are a good idea. Banners also. Items you can tie are best as no pins, tac or tape allowed. Also no confetti or crepe paper...decorations can get wet and if they leak colour or make a huge mess a fee may be required for the additional clean up

Where can we pickup and dropoff?
Preferred pick up and drop off wharf is Towns Place.Commissioners Steps, for Eastern Suburbs - Double Bay, for North - Lavender Bay.
How long is the cruise?
In peak seasons the minimum cruise is 4 hours. We can accommodate 5-6 hours depending on the event your hosting if you require a longer day. In non peak times we can also look at 3 hour cruises
What should I bring with me?
Personal items like towels, suncream and a jumper depending on the weather are always good. White soled shoes or non-marking shoes are required
Are children and babies allowed?
Yes children are allowed. Safety rails are around the boat. Children must be supervised by adults. All children & babies are counted as full guest numbers on board
What happens in poor weather?
If the weather is dangerous for charters the skipper will contact you and offer postponement or rescheduling. Sydney Harbour is a very safe & protected and it is rare for conditions to be called dangerous. Cruises do go ahead in wet weather as shelter and protection is provided on board
What is the security bond for?
Security Bond: This is pre-authorised on a credit card and held by a 3rd party a few working day before your cruise. Funds will only be claimed if there is damage to the boat - which rarely happens but its like an insurance policy for the boat owner on every cruise. Funds are released pending no claims and reappear 2-3 business days later in your account.
Footwear - are there any restrictions?
We prefer white flat soled shoes on board, and no stilettos.
