Our Story
BHS was established in Sydney in 2010 with a simple goal: to make boat hire in Sydney easier, clearer and more reliable.
Sydney Harbour has an enormous range of charter boats, but finding the right one can be difficult. Different boats suit different group sizes, budgets and occasions, and availability, pricing, catering and pickup options can vary considerably.
Over the years, BHS has built relationships with boat owners and charter operators throughout Sydney Harbour and developed a large database of vessels covering everything from affordable BYO catamarans and cruisers to luxury yachts, superyachts and large event boats.
Since 2010, we have arranged more than 19,000 boat charters for birthdays, corporate events, weddings, Christmas parties, hens and bucks celebrations, family gatherings and private cruises.
How BHS Works
BHS is an independent Sydney boat hire agency. We do not operate one single fleet of boats. Instead, we work with a wide range of experienced boat owners and charter operators across Sydney Harbour.
This means customers can compare a much broader selection of boats in one place rather than contacting individual operators one by one. Our team can help narrow down the options based on your group size, preferred style of boat, budget, date and type of event.
We currently provide access to more than 250 Sydney charter boats, including catamarans, motor cruisers, sailing boats, party boats, luxury yachts and larger corporate event vessels.

More than 15 years of organising charters has given BHS extensive knowledge of Sydney Harbour, its charter fleet and the practical details involved in organising private events on the water.
We have helped organise everything from small family cruises to large corporate functions and major celebrations, and have worked with private customers as well as businesses and organisations including major Australian companies and government bodies.
