General BYO Food Information
Please bring sufficient food to meet RSA guidelines. Cheese & Dips will not be enough and you may be requested to purchase more before boarding or order pizza. Light meals/BBQs are advised

Are plates, glasses / cups, cutlery included?
All inclusive with the byo fee

Are BYO spirits allowed?
Spirits are allowed with responsible drinking only. If only basic foods are selected spirits will only be allowed after food consumption.

Is ice provided onboard?
No. A ratio of 1 bag per 4 guests would do, so 34 guests = 8 bags. We can supply at $7 per bag please pay before balance. You can pay skipper cash on the day.*** Please note we can NOT provide ice for evening cruise*

Is there a BBQ onboard?
Yes there's a 4 burner gas BBQ and crew will cook if you bring meats

Is drinking water included?
Yes

Can I dropoff supplies at the boat before the charter?
If the crew and boat are available we can arrange to meet you prior to cruise at Rose Bay. Fees may apply

What cool storage is there onboard?
Yes plenty of eskie. There's a fridge for the cake.

Does the boat provide napkins/serviettes?
This is a consumable so we recommend bringing your own for BYO Charters.

Are glass bottles allowed onboard or just cans?
Glass bottles are allowed but consider bringing cans since they are lighter and safer since they won't smash.

Can we bring a baby? Is there an age limit? Are they counted as guests?
Yes babies are allowed onboard - there is no age limit. Yes, kids of all ages are included in your guest count.
If you have young kids coming, please let us know in advance.

What is the bond for?
The bond is taken incase there are damages caused by your group during your charter.
The no.1 cause for bond claims is broken toilets so please tell your guests not to flush things like wipes or tampons down the toilets - just a small amount of toilet paper is Ok.
Vomiting around the boat will incur fees. Don't bring Sparklers, confetti balloons, glitter (candles by request only) as they will stain the boat.

Are there any water toys onboard?
Yes Giant water slide for hire @$795 for 4 hours, $1100 for 5 hours - book in advance as crew is required. Lilypad $150; 2 SUPs $100 each (water toys only on daytime charters)

Smoking - is it permitted and are there any restrictions?
Smoking is allowed in a particular designated place which we will point out to the guests during our safety brief

Footwear - are there any restrictions?
No high heels or black soled shoes that leaves marks on the deck are allowed. We welcome boat shoes or white soled shoes such as sneakers or tennis shoes. Flats are allowed. We have a shoe basket for them to place their shoes in if they prefer to go barefeet

Is swimming allowed?
Yes

Can we have a DJ?
Yes for set up 15 mins before cruise access. DJ is ok, it must be part of the max 34 guests for the charter. Also MUST bring extention cord and duct tape. We have 240 Volt outlets onboard for the power supply. Pls ask organiser to ask DJ to be at wharf early and ready to load equipment so we don't run late at pickup time.

Is there a sound system and what connectivity is there?
Yes speaker system throughout. No Bluetooth but we have cables.

Where can we pickup and dropoff?
Ferry wharves such as Rose Bay/Double Bay. Please avoid Rose Bay Ferry Wharf on peak season if possible or avoid "on the hour" pick up. Either book at 11:30 or 11:45AM.

Are there any additional rules that apply to specific events (eg 21st Birthdays)?

Any other rules the organisers and guests should know?
Swimming might not be permitted on evening cruises...will depend on conditions and light and be at the skippers discretion. Has shower onboard. We have life jackets of different sizes

Covid - If Government restrictions prevent the boat owner from delivering your charter initially booked for, then your charter can be postponed to another available date within 6 months (conditions apply).
Unfortunately refunds are not available for any Covid related cancellations.
If you cancel your charter for any Covid related reason you will not be entitled to a refund or postponement.

Date Changes/Cancellations - your deposit is used to secure your booking with the boat owner so this can only be refunded (minus an admin fee) if we are able to find another person to replace your booking and if sufficient notice is given.
Weather - Cruises go ahead in wet weather on all boats that have shelter for all guests - your charter would only be cancelled if the skipper deemed the conditions unsafe. View some weather FAQs
