Yes, Hestia is a popular BYO boat charter option on Sydney Harbour. Guests are welcome to bring their own food and beverages onboard. The standard charter fee covers BBQ use, rubbish removal and additional clean-up after the cruise.

Yes, Hestia provides disposable plates, cups and cutlery as well as reusable plastic champagne glasses, plates and serving platters for food and grazing tables. This makes organising your Sydney Harbour party cruise much easier and more convenient.

Hestia has two 130 litre fridges, 2 large eskies and extra plastic tubs. Normally one fridge is for guests (food and cakes etc) but if more refrigeration is needed please check with us first to maximise the best way to chill (fridges will take a long time to get drinks cold in summer especially if they are constantly opened which is why eskies and ice are the most effective way of cooling drinks in summer.)

Yes decorations are permitted. Balloons on weights are a good idea. Banners also. Items you can tie are best as no pins, tac or tape allowed. Also no confetti or crepe paper...decorations can get wet and if they leak colour or make a huge mess a fee may be required for the additional clean up

Yes you can BYO DJ sufficient power. PLease bring all your own equipment or you can hire our BHS DJ for $750 (4 hours).

Swimming is allowed but under your own responsibility, we take no responsibility if injured while swimming or moving around boat whilst swimming. The captain will let you know when you can swim.

There are countless beautiful locations to explore during your Sydney Harbour boat charter including secluded swimming bays, waterfront beaches, famous landmarks and harbour coves. Your skipper can recommend the best cruise route on the day based on weather and your preferred style of cruise.

The standard minimum charter duration is generally 4 hours during peak periods, with longer charters often available. Shorter 3 hour cruises may sometimes be possible during off-peak times.

You should bring all food & beverage requirements if your on a BYO cruise. Any personal items you require towel, suncream, light jumper....

Yes children and babies are allowed. They are counted as a full guest on your maximum numbers allowed on board. Life vests are available please mention at time of booking

Most Sydney Harbour cruises proceed in light rain or changing weather conditions. In the unlikely event that conditions are deemed unsafe by maritime authorities, alternative options such as postponement will be discussed with you as early as possible.

Security Bond: This is pre-authorised on a credit card and held by a 3rd party a few working day before your cruise. Funds will only be claimed if there is damage to the boat - which rarely happens but its like an insurance policy for the boat owner on every cruise. Funds are released pending no claims and reappear 2-3 business days later in your account.
