We have 1x large fridge and a deep freezer for your catering.

Yes there is a BBQ onboard and crew will cook for BYO

Yes there is a water station on board at the bar.
Are there any kitchen facilities available?
Yes, there is an oven and microwave available to use. Kitchen hand is required.
How spacious is the boat for dining? How many can be seated in one area?
We are quite spacious being able to seat 70 - 80 people with no dance floor all in one level together.

Yes, consumption bar is available, there is a $5,000 minimum spend required.

Yes you are welcome to BYO DJ. There is a DJ Booth with decks and speakers. You are welcome to BYO laptop and connections to connect to our equipment. There is a BYO DJ fee of $100. BHS has DJs available from $850 if you wish to hire a DJ.

Is laser clay shooting an option and if so how much does it cost and where would guests shoot from?
Yes, Laser Clay Shooting is allowed, the perfect spot would be out the front of the boat.
Photo booths - is this an option and if so how much would it cost and where would they typically be placed?
Yes, Photo Booths are allowed on the first level. Please make sure Photo Booth will fit within 2m high. BHS has Photo Booth options available.
Are Bands allowed to play on board? If yes is there a specific location to perform and/or a surcharge for pre access?
Yes, bands are allowed on board. They must bring their own gear. A fee of $100 required for a 2 hour pre access to set up.

AV equipment - do you have Screens and what connectivity is there?
Yes, we have a microphone on board. TV screen upstairs for photo slideshows, USB or Laptop with HDMI cable to connect. If you would like to hire a screen for a presentation POA.
Accessibility - can wheelchair users board the boat easily and can they access the toilets? Any other information?
Yes, Manual Wheelchairs are able to access Southern Star if the guest is able to walk on assisted over the gangway. The wheelchair will be passed over for guest to use on board. Accessible toilet on board as well. Electric wheelchairs are too big to access the boat unfortunately.
Where can we pickup and dropoff?
Most City wharfs we can pick up/drop off. Extended trave fee for Rose Bay @ $550 for pick up and drop off. Half price if only one way.
Smoking - is it permitted and are there any restrictions?
Yes smoking is allowed in designated outdoor area only.
Footwear - are there any restrictions?
No stiletto high heels.
