Yes, Whitehaven includes disposable plates, cups, napkins, serving platters and cutlery for BYO charters, making it easy to organise food and drinks onboard. Plastic wine glasses, champagne flutes and tumblers are also available, along with serving utensils like tongs for platters and BBQ food.

There’s loads of cold storage onboard for food and drinks. Whitehaven has four large eskies, tubs with ice and a huge commercial fridge capable of holding approximately 200 cans, making it ideal for BYO cruises, parties and larger events on Sydney Harbour.

Whitehaven has a big four burner gas BBQ onboard which is extremely popular for casual Harbour cruises and summer events. The BBQ fee includes use of the equipment, utensils, gas and cleaning afterwards. Depending on the crew schedule, staff may also assist with cooking during your charter.
There’s also an oven onboard for heating food if needed, giving groups plenty of flexibility with catering options.

We have a wide variety of items on our menus that cater for all types of dietary requirements. If there are any specific requests, these can be made and we will try our best to fulfil them – however there is a dietary surcharge of $7.50 per person for special dietary requests that differ from the menu options.

If additional waitstaff are included they can cut and serve the cake. If not, the staff onboard have boat duties as a first priority, so please request this before the cruise so we can organise.

Yes, BYO DJ has a $200 fee (arriving with guests, setting up on charter) Must bring all his own gear including speakers. We can provide table. DJs set up inside the cabin. Inhouse Djs $950. DJ will be setup in the cabin near the powerpoint

Swimming is allowed from Whitehaven. We usually allow guests to swim up to 6:30-7PM in Summer. After this time, they can signn a waiver if they would like to continue swimming just so they know the risks associated (like Sharks) and then they can continue up until sunset.

The security bond serves as a form of protection for the boat owner in case of any damages, loss, or breaches of the hire agreement during the charter period. It's essentially a deposit that is refundable after the charter, provided that the boat is returned in the same condition it was in at the start of the hire and that all terms of the agreement have been adhered to. If there are any damages or issues, the cost to repair or rectify them may be deducted from the security bond before it is returned to the customer.
