Wharf Availability Advisory – Summer 2024/25
Wharf maintenance and limited wharf options in the CBD are causing challenges across the industry. This may lead to delays or limited availability at popular wharves.
CBD options: King St Wharf & Casino are popular however availability is limited.
Aquarium wharf is an option but please note delays can occur & boats may not provide extra time to compensate so we advise using other locations. Other wharfs that may experience unpredictable delays are Pirrama Park, Double Bay & Rose Bay.
+
Can you accommodate special dietary needs, allergies, or specific food safety concerns?
We do our best to work with our suppliers to accommodate various dietary requirements (e.g., vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free). However, because our food is sourced externally, we cannot guarantee a 100% nut-free environment or the complete absence of allergens such as gluten. We encourage you to let us know in advance about any serious allergies or dietary needs so we can liaise with our caterers.
If your charter is BYO (Bring Your Own) catering, please note that we are not responsible for the quality, storage, or safety of food or beverages brought on board by guests. We recommend following proper food-handling practices for any items you bring.
If you or your guests have any significant concerns or severe allergies, please contact us so we can discuss the best way to address them.

Any other rules the organisers and guests should know?
Responsible Consumption: Guests should consume alcohol responsibly and be mindful of their alcohol intake to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone on board. No straight spirits are allowed; however, pre-mixed spirits are permitted.
Designated Driver: If guests plan to consume alcohol during the charter, it's essential to designate a sober individual to serve as the driver or arrange alternative transportation to ensure everyone's safety.
Respect for Crew: Guests should show respect towards the crew members who are responsible for the safety and operation of the ferry. Following their instructions and treating them courteously contributes to a positive experience for all.
Compliance with Laws: Both organisers and guests should comply with all relevant laws and regulations governing alcohol consumption, boating safety, and behavior while on the water.
Communication: Clear communication between organizers, guests, and the charter company is crucial to ensure that everyone understands the rules and expectations for the BYO charter.
The duration of the Charter includes the time taken to embark and disembark passengers. The
Company is not responsible for any delays caused by the late arrival of passengers or delays at
the wharf caused by crowds, the arrival of other vessels or any other item beyond its control. It is
similarly not responsible for delays at the point of disembarkation for reasons outside its
control. The Company reserves the right to pull in to the point of disembarkation 10 minutes
prior to the scheduled time for disembarkation, at which point music will be switched off. If the
time for disembarking passengers takes longer than 15 minutes beyond the scheduled end of the
Charter, the Charterer will be charged for this time and for every 15 minute period thereafter
pro rata of the vessel charge. If the Master is required to vacate the disembarkation point in
order to let other vessels berth, this time will also be charged for at the same rate.
If the Charterer seeks to extend the duration of the Charter, during the Charter, this extension
will be at the sole discretion of the Master. Any such agreed extension will be paid
for by the Charterer before the end of the Charter by cash or credit card.
The amount will be pro rata of the vessel charge.
By adhering to these additional rules and guidelines, organizers and guests can contribute to a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience during the BYO charter.
