Taronga Zoo Wharf

Taronga Zoo is typically not a suitable boarding point due to difficult access through the zoo or the long walk required from nearby suburbs. The closest point to safely board your vessel nearby is Mosman Bay Wharf.

Athol Bay, located near the zoo, is a popular venue for charter boats to spend time at during a cruise. It offers lovely natural, unspoilt views and is an ideal anchor spot by the beach for the middle of your journey.

On warm weekends, this area becomes a vibrant hub for our bookings, offering a great atmosphere and a safe environment for swimming. Additionally, the area is usually sheltered from prevailing winds, as it is nestled in with protection from Northerly winds.

Generally there is no boarding here however on occasion we can drop off for a $50 fee.

Taronga Zoo Car Park is a reasonable value day rate. Be prepared for a bit of a walk or take the Sky Train.
