Gladesville Ferry Wharf - Huntleys Point
Gladesville ferry wharf has good access by road, just off Victoria Road. There are good bus links and frequent ferries, but no trains. This is a popular starting point for cruises due to the convenient access from the North side of the river, but it does get quite busy, and therefore boarding can be a little tricky as charter boats need to give way to Sydney ferries.
1. Getting There
Located on the Parramatta River between Gladesville and Hunters Hill. Not heavily signposted, so we send clear instructions. Single wharf setup. Arrive 15 mins early.
2. Parking
Mostly residential street parking. Usually free but can fill on weekends. No major parking stations nearby. Limited bus/coach access.
3. Public Transport
Bus services operate along Victoria Road — short walk down to the wharf. Access at night is quieter but fine.
4. Local Amenities
No shops right at the wharf. It's best to bring supplies with you. Ice and bottle shops are a short drive away. Gladesville cellars would be the closest.
