Cabarita Wharf
1. Getting There
Right at the end of Cabarita Road in Cabarita Park (NSW 2137). This wharf is a great, convenient option for guests from the inner-west like as Ryde, Concord and Homebush. It's the furthest west most charter boats travel without relocation fees.
The wharf is clearly signposted as a Sydney ferry wharf and has one boarding pontoon. Guests should arrive at least 15 minutes early, as private charters run to a schedule and can usually only wait up to 15 minutes.
2. Parking
A small car park sits beside the wharf right in the middle of the Cabarita parkland, including accessible spaces.
Metered street parking is available along Cabarita Road and within Cabarita Park (around $4–$7 per hour, check meters). There are no large secure parking stations nearby.
3. Public Transport
Bus routes 466 (Burwood) and 502 (City/Town Hall) stop nearby, with 464 and 662S also servicing the area.
The closest train stations are Burwood and Concord, though a short Uber, taxi or bus is recommended. The Parramatta River ferry (F3) also stops at Cabarita Wharf. Evening services run less frequently, but the wharf is well lit and easy to access.
4. Local Amenities
There are no supermarkets or bottle shops directly beside the wharf. The closest option is a Celebrations bottle shop about 4 minutes’ drive away.
Ice and last-minute supplies are best picked up before arrival. Uber Eats can deliver to nearby street addresses, but not directly onto the wharf.
5. Loading & Logistics
A relatively quiet and easy wharf for loading supplies. Vehicles can access the nearby drop-off area, but not the pontoon itself, so supplies must be wheeled across the pavement.
Trolleys can be used but must be returned before boarding. There is no marina, just a flat walk to the jetty. As with all ferry wharves, public ferries take priority, so charter vessels have limited boarding time
Generally there is no charge for using this wharf.
