Rose Bay Wharf
Overview:
1. Getting There
A short stoll from Rose Bay over the road past the tennis courts and dog park. It's the closest wharf for residents of Bondi and Vaucluse. Note the wharf for you group to wait at is beside the ferry wharf down a ramp to the left.
2. Parking
There is a reasonable size car part near the ferry wharf plus a seperate car park by the tennis courts. We suggest trying both parks as the nearest to the ferry wharf is half filled by cars and boat trailers.
3. Public Transport
Regular ferry services call into Rose bay plus buses along New South Head Road.
4. Local Amenities
Bottle shops, supermarkets and cafes nearby. We suggest the Metro supermarket as the closest option for ice and food. Harry's liquor has a good selection of drinks.
5. Loading & Logistics
As this wharf gets used by both private and public boats is gets very busy so please try to be all ready to go. Flat access from road to wharf.
This is a popular public wharf, particularly for birthday party cruises on Sydney Harbour. Rose Bay Wharf has the advantage of good access to the City by ferry, bus or car, as well as residents of Bondi and the Eastern Suburbs. Not to be confused with Rose Bay Marina, which charter boats generally don't access.
