King Street Wharf
Looking for a public wharf on Sydney Harbour for maximum convenience? King Street Wharf is one of our most popular pickup and drop off points for party boats or corporate cruises, due to its inner city location. It's very close to Cockle Bay Marina and Barangaroo, as well as Cargo Bar and Bungalow 8, which are popular pre and post drink locations. The Sydney Convention Centre is just 5 - 10 minutes' walk away.
1. Getting There
In the CBD at Darling Harbour, near Barangaroo. Multiple wharves. After the booking is made we confirm the exact number. Always arrive 15–20 mins early as this wharf is very strickt of timings as the boats are allowed 15 minutes maxium stopping time.
This is our number 1 most popular wharf requested by a long way so can't always be guaranteed during the busy summer season.
2. Parking
You can drop your supplies on the corner of Lime & King St then walk down the steps to the wharf.
Wilson & Secure Parking stations nearby. Expect CBD rates. Weekend deals sometimes available. Event nights are busy.
3. Public Transport
Town Hall or Wynyard Station are around 5 mins walk downhill. Ferries from Circular Quay and other areas. Very easy late-night access.
4. Local Amenities
City central so plenty of shops nearby. Just note the small liquor stores around the CBD are not as cheap as the bigger Dan Murphy's shops in the suburbs. Ice is possible to by at the Lime St Convenience store. Uber Eats delivery easy.
5. Loading & Logistics
Good promenade access. There are a few steps but it's a flat surface with ramp access down to the wharfs. It's busy with lots of locals and tourists especially around the Aquarium. Quick supplier drop-off possible but no long-term parking at the wharf.
